How will it be paid for?

This facility cannot be paid for by state funds, therefore it can only be built using student fees or by a contribution from a private sources. The students at CSU will be assessed a $125 fee per semester starting Fall 2009 to build and operate this facility.

This recreation fee would be assessed once ground has been broken for the construction phase of the facility. (The recreation fee will not be assessed during the 6-12 months pre-construction planning period.) The completion time for the recreation center will be between 18-24 months. For every semester that a student pays the recreation fee during the construction phase, he/she will be given a 6 months free membership to the recreation center once he/she has graduated.
