How will it be paid for?

This facility can not be paid for by state funds, therefore it can only be built using student fees or by a contribution from a private sources. The students at CSU would be assessed a $85 - $100 feeper semester to build and operate this facility. This fee breaks down to about $5.00 per week to use the student recreation center.

This recreation fee would be assessed once ground has been broken for the construction phase of the facility. (The recreation fee will not beassessed during the 6-12 months pre-construction planning period.) The completion time for the recreation center will be between 18-24 months. For every semester that a student pays the recreation fee during theconstruction phase, they will be given a 6 months free membership to the recreation center once that they have graduated.
