What is it?

The Columbus State University Student Recreation Center will be a $16,000,000; 70,000 square foot building that will be a major hub for student life. It will offer the CSU students a place to play, meet many of their fitness and wellness needs, and also provide them with a place to socialize and hang out.

What will be in it?

Our facility could have the following features:

• Fitness Center
• Fitness Center for women
• Cardio Theatre
• Two basketball courts (three volleyball courts)
• Multi-activity court to accommodate indoor soccer, rollerblade hockey and volleyball
• Indoor walking/running track
• Ballroom
• Game Room
• Lounge Area
• Retail space
• 2 Movement Rooms (Aerobic rooms)
• Locker rooms
• Office space
• Swimming pool (most likely in phase two)
